My Rad Life: A Journal Book Review

This is a guided journal featured inspirational quotes and paper cut portraits. There are Blank pages for doodling, lined pages for  writing, and prompts to encourage personal growth and the "finding" of oneself. I am 26 and I felt this book was aimed at a younger age group. Better for young adults
There are some things I love and something things I didn't in this book.
Likes: The designs and colors used in the book were fabulous, modern, and fun. I liked the style they used and as a journal I think the balance between provided content and blank space was in good proportion.

Dislikes: A lot of the women featured are modern women and more than half of them are from the LGBTQ lifestyle or are feminist/democrats. As a conservative, the quotes and overall message of this book was not one I appreciated. I felt like the feminist agenda and LGBTQ lifestyle were "pushed" on the audience. It was overwhelming for me. For anyone who agrees with those things, this is a perfect book! It provides some empowering and confidence boosting ideas from the most popular women figures of today's society.

I received this book from Blogging for books free in exchange for an honest review.
