A New Adventure with Digital Scrapbooking

I blame this all on the Pixel Scrapper website...

Pardon my memory, I can't seem to remember how I stumbled upon Pixel Scrapper Digital Scrapbooking, but thanks to Marisa Lerin's Youtube videos, she made digital scrapbooking look sooooo coool! I thought, "I could do that. I am a graphic designer after all." And that is how it started. Here is Marisa's video if you want to check it out: Watch Me Digital Scrapbook: Week 05 2018 (Beware: you might get hooked too!)

After watching the video, I downloaded a few things from the website and from various places around the interwebs and came up with this page.

I had a whole lot of fun making this faux pocket page layout. I have a lot of old pictures that I still haven't scrapbooked or junk journaled, but I am going to slowly chip away at them. I will be caught up some day, right?!?

This page features the first trip I made to meet my husband's family. We took a day trip into the big city to see some sights. It was my first trip to Chicago and I enjoyed it a lot.

I recommend you go and check out the Pixel Scrapper sight also. Whether you like to print things and scrap them, digitally scrap, or you just need some shapes for your die cutting, you will find plenty to keep you busy on their website. They are very reasonably priced and even have a free account option! Plus, you can get most items with a commercial license! Nifty :)

And if that wasn't enough, I did a second layout of this page!

This is one of the first pictures I took on a brand new camera and I loved how it came out! This little guy was giggling so hard at the sound of the crunchy leaves and I got all kinds of cute pictures from it. His brother, however, was not as enthused with his first playtime outdoors. Oh well! Even though I didn't get a good picture of the twins together, I did catch a few good ones of them individually.

This picture is always a good one to make me smile!
